Do The Gnome Dance!

Binky the Gnome A new member joins the Alliance ranks; meet Binky the gnome mage! Binky is a recent Gnomeregan refugee, his hobbies include dirty dancing and talking smack! Nia and I took Binky out for a little wolf and bear hunting. I was impressed, the level 4 gnome was taking out level 7 wolves. Last I heard Binky has allready made his way to Elwyn Forest. Here’s to more adventures with Binky! Welcome again!

Whirlwind Axe Finally THE axe is mine! I completed collecting eight charms from each of the three elementals in the highlands (that’s twenty-four charms for you math wizards). Lucky for me, I had help from Thugrim who also needed to complete the quest. We had to battle an elemental called the Cyclonian. Fortunately with two other level 40+ dwarves it was fairly easy and the Whirlwind Axe was completed!

Roast Hog

Paladin power Gee, what’s this? Is that a picture Ohsnap running for his life? Is that me standing my ground? I believe it is! You saw it here first folks a paladin running from like ONE murloc! WTHBBQIRLPWNED!!! ;) Actually Ohsnap is frightened of murlocs, you know, like how some people are afraid of puppies? What you say? Nobody is afraid of puppies? GG OHNSAP! The Cathedral of Light salutes you!

Turtle bisque Since Ohsnap ran all the way back to Ironforge, and I was a little parched from all the murloc fin kicking, I decided to hunt snapping turtles to cook up some delicious turtle bisque! I like hunting snapping turtles. They stand their ground and fight! They don’t move around very much, and they don’t make annoying noises! They also drop thick shelled clams, and I was lucky enough to find two pearls!

Roast Hog After about my 20th snapping turtle I rounded a bend in the river and froze, not because of fear mind you, but because a level 46 elite dragonkin was not but 100 yards in front of me! I didn’t want to spook it, they are easliy frightened! I waited until its’ back was turned and did what every self respecting warrior (non-paladin) of Khaz Modan would do, I charged! The dragonkin fought bravely but in the end I perished ;) It wasn’t from a one-shot AOE fire breathing attack I’ll have you know! No, no, I had my mind on that turtle bisque and not on the battle at hand. The moral of the story is to always eat your bisque before you brawl.

Hogit's Story

You’re A Mean One Mr. Greench

Vancleef snowball fight! Ohsnap, Jed and I went into the Deadmines… again… Yes we are overpowered for it, yes we tore it up :) Halfway through Ohsnap had to go reboot our servers IRL and just auto-followed me through to Mr. Smite. The fight with Vancleef again was easy. Ohsnap, obviously bored, even tried to share the holiday spirit with Vancleef (in the form of a white cold puff of snow ;) ) Jed looted the head and we were off! Logged off, because the server had been down most of the day and it was pretty late.

Mr. Greench Round Two: I can’t stay logged off for very long so of course an hour later I was back in the action. I met up with Ohsnap in the Alterac Mountains to continue our search for the missing treats. This time we had much better luck. I noticed a snowman up on the ridge, surprisingly it was not a real snowman, it was Grandfather Winter’s missing helper! The holiday treats had been stolen by a huge level 36 elite yeti called the “Greench” (coincidence). A gnome (sorry I forgot your name!) and friend Aevise helped Ohsnap and I track and slay the beast. The treats were recovered and returned to Grandfather Winter. I received plans for an awesome one-handed “Edge of Winter” axe, and also a snowman suit!
