Ding, 34! I would have to say one of my favorite places so far in the World of Warcraft is Booty Bay. It’s run by the neutral race of goblins so both the Alliance and Horde visit. The entrance to Booty Bay is reminiscent of the Storybook Land attraction at Disneyland where you ride the boat through the mouth of a whale. Booty Bay is constructed of old hulls of ships, driftwood, tied together with rigging, complete with a pirate flag and giant shark, makes for a fun place to explore. It is also a stop on the way to the Cross Roads where many Horde and Alliance battles take place, so I will be back!
While making my way to Stranglethorn through Darkshire I heard the nightwatch’s shout “Beware! A threat lurks in the wild!” An almost hourly occurrence, and only means one thing, Stitches. Stitches is the pride and joy of the embalmer, an abomination of mismatched body parts sewn together with metal and thread. Nia and I usually run when we see the beast lumbering down the path to town, but this night I would stand my ground! “DARKSHIRE I HUNGER!” A few other adventurers had chosen the same fate as I and waited as Stitches approached. I switched into defensive stance raised my sword and shield and led the attack! Good teamwork paid off in the end and we were victorious, Stitches fell and everyone cheered! “The beast is slain! The town of Darkshire is saved!”
