A Pirate’s Life For Me!

pirate Hogit “Dead Men Tell No Tales” but Hogits do. Cap’n Hogit at your service! The best part about having a pirate hat is whenever you do something less then honorable you can just point to the skull and crossbones and all is forgiven. Just ninja looted Onyxia? Pirate. Stealing treasure chests from the noob zones? Pirate. Selling “Arcane Crystals” but substituting Yellow Power Crystals in the trade window? Pirate. A pirate’s life for me! HAARRR!

Elessedil's Story

Nia Turns Sixty!

Aeron turns 60 The elf formerly known as Nia turned 60! Yes, “formerly” because she was forced to change her name as of the most recent patch. For some reason (search Urban Dictionary ) “Nia” was added to the in game profanity filter, so when you typed her name it came out as “#@%.” From now on Nia = Aeron. Congrats Aeron and welcome back! :P

Hogit's Story

Back To Uldaman

naked dance party After all of my attempts at Uldaman I still hadn’t actually finished it. Ohsnap swore it was worth another trip and confronting the stone army. A pickup group invited me while in Ironforge and we made our way to the instance. The group composed of a mage, priest, rogue, hunter and I the warrior was well prepared. Unfortunately the hunter was suffering from disconnects (big surprise). During one of his outages our break turned 180 degrees and became a naked dance party. I can’t quite say how it happened, but before I knew it the priest was up on the table and the gnome mage was cheering her on. The state of the party was not looking good, it was time to call in the big guns… Ohsnap.

four down many to go We booted the hunter, invited Ohsnap and quickly picked up where we left off. The first large encounter was a round room with four large stone golem statues at opposite ends. To open the door we had to summon each to life and defeat them one after the other. Easy enough and without casualties the four stone monstrosities lay at our feet. There was much rejoicing. :P

stone army The next room was much like the first; large and round with a tall domed ceiling. Stone dwarves lined the walls and a large goliath-looking statue stood in the center. I had heard stories of the stone army, mostly from Ohsnap. One by one they would come to life, their only goal to overwhelm and destroy. For now they stood silent, in fact the entire room was motionless and quite, too quiet. :P

taking a breather with ohsnap We assembled near the center of the room. Like the one before it, this room also contained an altar of summoning. We each began the summoning process and awakened the giant. The battle was long but easily won. We kept an eye on the rising stone dwarfs and another on the giant. Thanks Ohsnap for the help!
