Hogit's Story

A New Power

Highlord Hogit and Lady Aerials Thus begins the rule of Lady Aerials and Highlord Hogit. As my first decree, Children’s Week is over and now everyday is Hog Day. The acronym LFG will now be spoken as LFHOG. Please send all requests and concerns to Stormwind Keep care of Pwned. How did this come to be you may be asking, well it would be easiest to begin at the beginning and when I come to the end, stop.

the escort As usual, I found myself in Ironforge wondering if I would ever find a group back into Blackrock Depths. Tonight was my night and I quickly found a balanced questing group. There were some rough starts, but once we worked out the assisting we moved quickly through the depths. We began with the General and then moved to the Golem Lord. My reason for being here was a prisoner who held important information and needed to be escorted to safety. After clearing most of the area, the escort was a walk in the park, err dungeon.

marching on the keep Our escort Windsor led us to Stormwind where he planned a march on the keep to publicly divulge his information. Aerials and I met up at the gates, we also invited Defender to march with us (tee hee hee). As Windsor made his way to the keep the citizens of Stormwind stopped with bowed heads and compliments, we even had a small following of groupies! The best part came when Windsor spilled the beans in front of Highlord Bolvar Fordragon. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone who has yet to complete this quest, but I will say, Lady Katrana Prestor, pwned.

Hogit's Story

It’s Good To Be The King

the king Some guildies and I adventured in Dire Maul the other day. The instance is divided much like the Scarlet Monastery. There are two wings and a central area which we decided to run first. The central instance in Dire Maul is a lot of sneaking around, passed guards, and through locked doors. The goal of this instance is to not kill any of the named guards because they pay tribute (phat lewts) after you defeat the king, the less you kill, the more tribute is paid. :D The fight with the king was not easy. I have about 5500 buffed hit points which is probably average if not a little on the low side. The king has a mortal strike attack which critical hits for about 2000! We wiped once and had a couple close calls the second round, but in the end we were crowned king of the ogres and there was much rejoicing.

This Is The End

hogit turns 60 Yes, Hogit reached level 60 today during a Blackrock Depths run, which means I have beat the game. It’s been fun, but I have to move on. I will probably start playing EQ2. No you can’t have my stuff because it is soulbound. Thanks for reading and good night.
