Of Epic Proportions

epic axe aka mount money Teh Glux recommended I hit Winterspring for some 59-60 grinding and I’m glad I took his advice! Winterspring is another eternally frozen land similar to Dun Morogh but with a violet hue… don’t ask. A few of the locals in the Winterspring town of Everlook were having trouble with some Yetis to the south. I had considered politely asking the Yetis to leave, but decided to slaughter them all instead. After about the 20th Yeti had fallen under my weapon I looted the corpse and was surprised to find an axe of epic proportions! Yes, my first random world drop epic! Now comes the hard part, do I sell (average price 300 gold) or keep it. I am leaning towards epic mount money right now.

a brd joke And now for something completely different. I was able to gather a group to head back into BRD including a couple of guildies. We didn’t hit the emperor but the goal was mostly the smaller quests all the other groups tend to skip. A high stamina bind on pickup helm dropped and I won the roll. After equipping it I realized it is not a helm, rather it’s a Gnomish invention that sweeps the celing in your home! On my way to receive the Shadowforge Key a couple of the group members decided to play a joke. I was rather confused at first after rounding a corner and finding their two corpses side by side on the ground and already decomposed! OMGLOLROFLIRLBBQ!

Enlightened Exiles

the Emperor's throne Recently I applied for membership in the Enlightened Exiles guild. Most of the senior members of the Friendly Fishermen had joined EE a while back. EE is one of about two of the more organized guilds on the Silvermoon server, and I had heard better things about EE. They use a raid point system instead of relying on the in-game random dice rolls. There is also a Teamspeak server many of the members use during runs. Yesterday I was invited into two Upper Blackrock Spire raids with the guild. The first was unofficial and let me get my feet wet to prepare for the usual 7pm raid later that night. Both went well and I walked away with a Valor set piece and a great shield (and a negative raid point total :P). Thanks to the two warriors including Meathos, and special thanks to Kronk who passed on the shield!

Run Glux, Run!

the Emperor's throne Introducing the all new Glux! AKA “the running man of Ironforge!” He runs, in circles, and he won’t stop until you like him! Glux has joined us from the newb PvP servers and is eager to make friends. So eager in fact, he signed on for three entire days and for those 72 hours ran arround in a circle in Ironforge non stop! Hey, it worked for Forest Gump…
