This time it wasn’t noisy patrons of the Ironforge Inn that awoke the Dwarf, but his own violent thrashing in bed. With each passing night the dreams occured more frequently and grew more intense. Humidity and heat from the forge stretched the flame scared skin tight around Hogit’s neck, and the pain induced visions of the dragonkin in Hillsbrad Foothills. Some new disturbance had entered Azeroth and corrupted Hogit’s dreams with aspects of four menacing guardians. The Green Dragonflight have arrived from the Dream, but these once-proud protectors now seek only destruction and death.

“Lethon’s exposure to the aberration within the Emerald Dream not only darkened the hue of the mighty dragon’s scales, but also empowered him with the ability to extract malevolent shades from his enemies. Once joined with their master, the shades imbue the dragon with healing energies. It should come as no surprise, then, that Lethon is considered to be among the most formidable of Ysera’s wayward lieutenants.”
“A mysterious dark power within the Emerald Dream has transformed the once-majestic Emeriss into a rotting, diseased monstrosity. Reports from the few who have survived encounters with the dragon have told horrifying tales of putrid mushrooms erupting from the corpses of their dead companions. Emeriss is truly the most gruesome and appalling of Ysera’s estranged green dragons.”

Recently it was brought to my attention that Murloc populations across Azeroth are in danger. Mindless killings and raids on their homes have left thousands upon thousands of Murlocs dead or wounded, and each day the slaughter continues. The Dwarf Ransin Donner in Ironforge is running a Murloc adoption program. Many young Murlocs are left without their parents as pillaging gangs of so-called heroes eradicate entire tribes, leaving the unhatched Murloc eggs without protection against hungry crocilisks, raptors, and other dangers that threaten a young Murloc’s life. Elessedil and Hogit were both qualified as Murloc Handlers and given two abandoned Murloc eggs to care for.
Elessedil and Hogit have been farming Twilight Texts in Silithus for some time. Hermit Ortell who hides in a cave along the Eastern border has the ability to decrypt the hidden messages of the texts. In return for ten texts he mails a goody bag containing the decryption and sometimes new recipes. I have been lucky enough to receive two blacksmith and one tailoring recipe.
The arid climate of Silithus probably increased the incubation time because it wasn’t long before the eggs hatched and out popped Murky the Murloc! His first words were of course “murglglglglglgl!” but in a baby Murloc voice. Surprisingly Murky likes to dance and he is quite good! He will pull out a top hat and cane and bust some moves when it is most inconvenient and he also likes to spend time with Diablo the Lord of Terror.
