Hogit's Story

World of Warcraft Hors D’oeuvres

If Molten Core and Blackwing Lair are the main course of the World of Warcraft then these are the appetizers.

Hogit and dead Azuregos Our soup of the day is blue dragon served chilled.
Arsenal Team was organizing for another run through Molten Bore when someone mentioned that Azuregos was up. We could not let the opportunity of a few wacks at the loot piñata pass us by. Azuregos roams Azshara which is home to the abandoned night elf city of Eldarath. What dropped? Some crap and Cold Snap wand… always the Cold Snap wand.

Kazzak and Hogit Shadowbolt spam! Yum.
Kazzak is another of the original outdoor raid bosses. He dwells far back in the Blasted Lands in an area called the Tainted Scar. Minions of the Burning Legion and demon Lord Kazzak wait there for the reopening of the Dark Portal. He’s got a while to wait for the expansion though (you know how Blizzard can be) and Arsenal Team is not that patient. This guy popped in less than two minutes. Cornpo the night elf Druid ninjaed an Amberseal Keeper which he immediately replaced with a drop from Molten Core later that night. GG.

Hogit and Prince Skaldrenox The sampler platter is tasty but only serves one.
A few members of Arsenal Team have been grinding in Silithus to gather resources to summon a few raid bosses including High Marshal Whirlaxis, and Prince Skaldrenox. Each have their own strengths but from what I could tell basically require a zerg force to bring down. They still made for some fun fights but I don’t think they paid off. It takes roughly 20 to 30 gold to summon one of these yet we had no epics drop. Only a couple people walked away with some rare items. For the amount of grinding and money involved this is quite a let down for a large raid of players.

ROFL so true! but in my humble opinion:

Argent Crusader > Amberseal Keeper > Staff of Dominance
