Hogit's Story

The Lunar Festival

Lunar Festival in Ironforge The citizens of Azeroth celebrate the Lunar Festival by honoring their elders and what better way then with fireworks! Druids from Nighthaven setup camp in the Mystic Ward of Ironforge drawing in the crowds with hard to miss explosive light shows. They sealed the deal by explaining the collection of Coins of Ancestry could be turned in for rare items; now that’s my kind of Holiday.

an Elder of the Lunar Festival The elders appear as ghostly characters under a spot of light from Elune, but many of them rest in unknown locations. The Druids in Ironforge gave Hogit a few clues to begin his search, and each elder found had clues to find more. Having collected more then thirty Coins of Ancestry Hogit turned them in for some nice engineering fireworks schematics.

Easy Mode Hakkar

Hogit and Hakkar down Our Zul’Gurub group has done well on all five aspects and is clearing to Hakkar in decent time. We tried the “cage strategy” on the panther aspect. With an off tank in each cage and healers keeping them up they tank any panthers that spawn in the cages, while the rest of the group just focuses on the boss. It’s pretty foolproof although some things can go wrong. The boss likes to unstealth near the off tank healers so make sure they are Paladins or someone who can take some hits. One of our attempts the boss unstealthed near Cornpo the Druid and ate him alive. It was an accident sorry! I didn’t laugh or anything! Hakkar is still easier then ever but Blizzard has reported he will be receiving buffs in an upcoming patch. The good news is some of the other aspects will be toned down and some trash pulls removed.

Hogit's Story

Insanedwarf & Bolderfist

Insanedwarf and Bolderfist Hogit ran into two Dwarves in Ironforge the other day who had some interesting things to say. They caught me in the hall on the way to the griffon master. “Hey stop,” Insanedwarf whispered me, so I turned around and there they were. Insanedwarf and Bolderfist wore matching pairs of engineering specs so I put on my Fire Goggles.

Hogit: let me get my shades
Insanedwarf: oh shit son
Hogit: thats right
Insanedwarf: lol
Insanedwarf: got the gangster gear
Insanedwarf: i feel ya dawg
Insanedwarf: i feel ya on that one
Bolderfist: fasho dirty

We talked for a while. I mentioned I had a website and asked permission if I could post their pictures.

Insanedwarf: hey is umm arsenal team recruiting
Hogit: its really full
Bolderfist: im down with the b!tches and h0es
Hogit: true that
Insanedwarf: oh sh!t son
Insanedwarf: you 2?

Insanedwarf: you guys need ne hunters?
Bolderfist: I got a 60 pally
Insanedwarf: 60 hunter here
Bolderfist: open for business
Insanedwarf: same here
Insanedwarf: lol

Hogit meets some fellow Dwarves At some point I realized they were speaking in Dwarvish, which means half the population (Night Elf Hunters) couldn’t understand what they were saying. As I explained we were pretty much full on all classes; Flarion, one of Arsenal Team’s Night Elf Hunters walked up to us.

Insanedwarf: what about hunter btw?
Insanedwarf: do you guys do full hunter raids
Hogit: Hunters too
Bolderfist: damn the devil
Hogit: there is one right now
Flarion: damn dwarfs
/points at Flarion
Bolderfist: lol
Insanedwarf: hey dude
Bolderfist: an elf
Insanedwarf: #%@! you

#%@! you Elf indeed… #%@! you.
