Arsenal Team has progressed far into Blackwing Lair in the last month clearing all the way through Flamegor, and once Chromaggus has been taken down we can work on Nefarian. Blackwing Lair has been much more enjoyable than Molten Core mostly because there is very little clearing between bosses. There are some large packs of goblin lab technicians working on Nefarian’s experiments accompanied by blackwing orcs and an overseer. Fortunately either they go down fast or your raid does but at least it’s fast!
The clearing in the two rooms leading to Broodlord is much like the dog pack clearing leading to Magmadar in Molten Core. Both are timed and require precision on the part of the raid. The best part of Blackwing Lair has got to be the lack of respawns. In the Molten Core many of your trash mobs will respawn excluding dogs if you have defeated Magmadar and lava surgers if you have taken down Garr. In Blackwing Lair your raid can continue exactly where it left off without clearing anything again.
Here are some of the items I have passed on in Blackwing Lair so far: Drake Talon Pauldrons; Cloak of Draconic Might; Spineshatter; and Helm of Endless Rage.

This is why I never completed my Valor armor set; I just have bad luck! On this night our Molten Core run filled up before I was able to login. My guild usually only calls on me for Majordomo and Ragnaros so I was just killing time in Brokeluck Mountain… err I mean Blackrock Mountain. There is not much to do there besides run around in circles and lava swim. Fortunately while planning my next high dive jump into the lava I ran into Nightpriest. He had a much better and safer way to pass the time; rolling the dice! So here is how it goes: first you /kneel, then each player takes turn /roll, and the loser pays the winner one gold. Now you would think that each player has an equal chance of winning so over time they would break even, but I swear each time Nightpriest would roll a low number I would roll even lower. It was so bad that after a while he stopped taking my money and in the end even paid some back! All I can say is thank the gods for DKP.

Hogit has been on various Zul’Gurub runs including one clear through Hakkar but not consistently. In an effort to gain reputation for the guild to complete class enchants we have started scheduling weekly raids. On Wednesday I joined a raid halfway through and we defeated High Priestess Mar’li (Spider Aspect) and Bloodlord Mandokir. I finally got the Overlord's Crimson Band to complete the set with Overlord's Onyx Band. Together the rings form quite a set with stats that rival multiple drops from Molten Core.
Due to a few people leaving early and a lack of DPS we continued the run at Jin’do the Hexxer the next day. He is one of the more challenging bosses in Zul’Gurub and we wiped a few times before moving on, because again we were short on some people and low on DPS. At least I finally reached Neutral with the Zandalarian Tribe which is enough to complete the Warrior class enchant. Now I just need a Primal Hakkari Aegis. There have been some odd bugs occurring since the last patch and tonight was no exception. For the entire run Cornpo the Night Elf Druid was running around wearing only his Stormrage Legguards and carrying the Staff of Dominance. Even upon inspection I saw only those items equipped… don’t go fruity on us Cornpo!
