The Edge of Madness is an event in Zul’Gurub with a rotating summon boss. Gri'lek's Charm of Might and the other class trinkets require a drop from each of the four summons: Gri’lek, Renataki, Hazza’rah, and Wushoolay. If you are working on completing your Zul’Gurub class trinket, sometimes it’s hard to remember which summon boss is up. “What Edge of Madness boss is this week?” I created an Edge of Madness Calendar that displays the current summon boss as well as the ability to know upcoming bosses. You can use the available links, search for a specific date, and even queries like “next Wednesday” will work. Have fun and good luck!

Hi Hogit, am loving your WP theme here, truely excellent. My question is, did you have is custom-built, or is it obtainable somewhere, as I’d simply love to have it as part of my guild site.
I’m assuming you had it custom-built, but i figured i’d ask, as I’ve yet to find a decent wow theme for any cms/blog software.

Any idea if this works as well for EU Realms?
How does your script work? I thought, it was random which boss will spawn per ID. Do they rotate weekly (week being Mo-So)?

That’s a good question.
The boss does rotate every two weeks, Monday through Sunday, and it’s definately not random.
But I dont know if the EU realms are on another schedule. One could probably just check between my site and the live EU realms to see if they are in sync.

Well… sadly, it doesn’t. So we have to give our spawned bosses a more detailed look to get our “spawn plan” to work.

If you can give me the dates for two weeks of the same boss I can set one up for EU I believe. For example July 31 through August 13 was Wushoolay.

I belive the site is bugged, tried to summon a boss tonight. (16th of July, 2007) in the hopes of the “Renataki” would come - Like your calender told me, but we got “Hazza-Rah”

It can be a little confusing.
To keep it simple, make sure your instance is created on the day where the calendar lists your boss. As that is the only boss that instance will spawn regardless of what the calendar says.
Spawn bosses change every two weeks, but your saved instances as well as the boss predicted at the time of instance creation do not change.
