To keep it simple, make sure your instance is created on the day where the calendar lists your boss. As that is the only boss that instance will spawn regardless of what the calendar says. Spawn bosses change every two weeks, but your saved instances as well as the boss predicted at the time of instance creation do not change. It can be a little confusing.
