Hogit's Story

When Troggits Attack

Hogit and Zephrantes in Coldridge Valley Natural selection had failed Coldridge Valley. Reports were coming in from the newbie zone about a Trogg population spiraling out of control. It is necessary at times to intervene in the process of natural selection and cull the weak from the herd. Hogit answered that call with his new Dragonbreath Hand Cannon and set off from Ironforge hoping that one Dwarf really could make a difference, while at the same time level his gun skill.

Hogit killed Elessedil Fortunately Zephrantes the Dwarf Warrior and Elessedil the Night Elf Priest were feeling generous and joined Hogit on his Trogg crusade. What followed next was a mass slaughter of anything that moved. When asked what they were doing Hogit replied “Yes they deserved to die and I hope they burn in hell!” Elessedil was extra viscous and melting the faces of even the small bunnies roaming the area. As Hogit’s granddaddy used to say, “No good dead goes unpunished.” After finishing a duel the victorious Hogit watched as the Troggs swarmed the vunerable Elessedil and killed her. Her death was not in vain because the gunsmoke filled Coldridge Valley lives on.

Tier 2 Raid Set Complete

Hogit with full Tier 2 armor Not too long ago I looted the Breastplate of Wrath from an Ilterendi Nefarian kill to complete my Tier 2 Wrath set. The full set bonus is a four percent chance after every block to parry the next attack. So far I’m not really impressed by the bonus, and from what I am hearing better mitigation can be had by substituting other drops like Pauldrons of the Unrelenting and Royal Qiraji Belt. I may have finished this set, but the gear race continues on as I looted my first Tier 3 item Dreadnaught Gauntlets. It’s fun receiving new gear but getting them enchanted again ain’t my bag baby. I am definitely not looking forward to farming Zul’Gurub for the helm and leg slot enchants.
