Hogit's Story

Zug Zug

Pigcat and Hogit in the Deadmines There are raiding days and then there are raiding days but in between I do stuff like this. Pigcat is Elessedil’s new experiment; a female Dwarf Warrior. I ran her through the Deadmines a few times for experience and drops she couldn’t use yet. We got a Taskmaster Axe to drop which will pwn at level 18, and a lot of random greens. Pigcat’s motto is “I am Pigcat hear me roar!”

Hogit and Elessedil protecting towers in EP The towers in Eastern Plaguelands are usually always Alliance controlled or empty and rarely see any action. Controlling towers provide minor faction specific benefits. For example the Plaguewood Tower gives you flight access to the other three which is a nice way to navigate the Plaguelands. Elessedil and I decided to go on a tower run to complete a Light’s Hope quest. After clearing the Eastwall tower we road to Northpass, then to Plaguewood, and finally to Crown Guard Tower. At each stop we picked up support from Alliance players who helped us stand around twiddling our thumbs. Riveting.

Elessedil's Story

Elessedil And The Beast

Elessedil and Patchwerk Elessedil and her guild Ilterendi have been venturing inside Naxxramas for a couple of months now, and have made great strides. The Necropolis of Naxxramas is a very dangerous place to say the least, the horrors that wait inside are unspeakable and grotesque. One never knows what gruesome creatures will come out from around the corner and pwn one in the Elf face or mess up one’s braid. :(

Hogit Elessedil and Zephrantes One of the most repugnant Abominations there is the infamous Patchwerk; he is taller than an Orc but not as stinky although some would say better looking. This monster has over three million hit points and one must take him down in seven minutes. Not only that, but he hits harder than a runaway train on steroids. Needless to say the healers have quite a time keeping the tanks up during the encounter, but all hard work deserves great rewards for every time a Patchwerk dies a Priest gets their wings. This Priest got hers and I must say I was overwhelmed. Till we meet again Patchwerk, till we meet again indeed.

Naxxramas Updates

Hogit with Ilterendi in Naxxramas After completing the Spider Wing, Ilterendi has moved on to the Abomination and Plague Wings. The Plague Wing is rather short and has some challenging fights, but the first encounter Noth The Plaguebringer is fairly easy so was defeated after a couple nights of practice. We have been farming Noth since then but instead of advancing further into the Plague Wing Ilterendi skipped over to the Abomination Wing. The Abomination Wing has a total of four bosses and some very fun fights.

Clotho Pu Medpack and Gobnick The first boss up in the Abomination Wing is Patchwerk; an oversized undead “abomination” with some very powerful attacks. Grobbulus follows Patchwerk and is too easy to be worth mentioning so I will skip straight to Gluth who was Ilterendi’s most recent victory. Gluth is your average “two-headed” fearing and enraging dog fight except he also has loads of skeletons “chow” that heal him. Most of the strategy involves kiting the skeletons with either Warriors and Mages or Paladins. He dropped Gluth's Missing Collar which is the only neck in the game with shield block stats; it’s not very impressive but was inexpensive so I bid and won it. Hooray!
