Deep in the Caverns of Time the Bronze Dragonflight keep watch over temporal events. A malicious force called the Infinite Dragonflight has been trying to disrupt important timelines in the Warcraft universe. Hillsbrad ten years ago held Thrall imprisoned in Durnholde. The Infinite Dragonflight attempt to disrupt his escape and eventual discovery of the Frostwolf clan and his place as Warchief.
As heroes of Azeroth the Bronze Dragonflight sent us back in time to escort Thrall safely. When our task was complete I rode to the Hillsbrad tavern for some refreshment. To my surprise I crossed paths with the infamous Cap’n Sander and crew. His reputation and lost treasure was said to be only myth but this sighting proved it true. I followed them out of the tavern and down the coast where I discovered the location of Cap’n Sander’s Booty! This was definitely a job for Hog’s lock picking skills.

“The better to own you with!” exclaims the weak old grandmother as she transforms into the Big Bad Wolf during one the Opera House encounters. At the start of the fight the wolf chases your main tank until a member of your party becomes the small red female Gnome, “Run away little girl, run away!” That member now with increased speed runs around the perimeter of the stage until the debuff wears off. Too slow and “Mmmm… delicious,” Scooby snack.

There is much to see while climbing Medivh’s tower. Just before reaching the final alcove, I came across what I can only assume was the bed of Medivh. This mattress towered near three Dwarves tall, and displayed a sea of fluffy pillows the size of small Gnomes. What does a Dwarf do when confronted with such a large bed? Jump on it. My fun was cut short by the lazy Warlock (Aku?) trying to sneak in a nap.
The nether dragon Netherspite patrols the room of astronomy and posed a challenge the first few attempts. During the fight your group must control three beams which bestow great advantages, but eventually take a toll on your efficiency and must be passed to another member. After refining our strategy and soulstoning the careless Druid Cornpo we downed him like professionals.
Even though Prince Malchezaar holds the top of the tower, the true final encounter of Karazhan is Nightbane. Formerly Arcanagos of the Blue Dragonflight, Nightbane was transformed into his fiery skeletal form during a battle with Medivh. Summonable after completing a few quest perquisites he wreaks havoc on your party with most everything a dragon can throw at you. The encounter is challenging and definitely our current focus.
