Progress In Karahzan

Hogit and Elessedil at the Opera House The first week in Karazhan flew by. When you are there make sure to stop by the Opera House and just take a look around. It’s really a cool area and the event itself is one of three plays: Dorothee & Tito, Romulo & Julianne, and The Big Bad Wolf. So far we have done Romulo and the Big Bad Wolf events. Romulo and Julianne are hard but manageable compared to the very easy Big Bad Wolf which is actually quite fun. During the Big Bad Wolf one player is turned into Red Riding Hood and is chased by the wolf.

Were you listening to me, Hogit? Or were you looking at the gnome in the red dress?

Chess master Hogit Another outstanding encounter in Karahzan is the chess event. This life-size chess table has alliance pieces on one side and horde on the other. Each player gains control of one piece and you fight to kill the “king.” We started the event not knowing exactly what to do but ended up winning anyways, it’s very easy and I’ve even heard of some players soloing it.

Ilterendi downs Prince Malchezaar Technically the last boss in Karahzan is Prince Malchezaar at the top of the tower, even though Nightbane is the true end boss but he doesn’t drop any tier gear. The prince drops Tier 4 helms so we made it a point to get him down as soon as we could. After bugging him one night, we all came prepared with consumables this night and downed him on the first try. He hits pretty hard and I would recommend your tank have at least 18k health as a bad crushing can be disastrous.

and so finally you’re already doing everything in your powers to get the tier4 set.

That is nice… for soon we’lll see you wearing a brand new dress… even if maybe Elessedil doesn’t like the “dark colours” of the priest set… or does she :) ?

I’m still 68 so far and i’m taking it easy with all the funny quests of Nagrand and the boring reputation farming… anyway in the photos i don’t see your weapons… which sword/axe do you use? And Elessedil… what about your staff ^^?

Hey, the calender for the edge of madness seems to be off. I was in there yesterday and it wasn’t renataki, it was gri’lek. Do you know if they have changed the way they are doing it? I.e. is it still every 2 weeks… do you know when the reset/change to a new boss is and what the actual schedule is now? Thanks. Have a reference?

  8. Hogit Says:

You’re not on EU servers right?

I wouldnt be surprised if it is off, I know that the madness summon was broken for a while.

I can update it pretty easily though, thanks!

  9. UtherX Says:

right, US server… I see you have Gri’lek up now, which is what it was… are you sure this coming Monday is when it switches and then you’re calander will be accurate? thanks! Appreciate it… How do you know what the calender is?

  10. UtherX Says:

hey hogit, you siad “i can update it pretty easily” how do you know the schedule… I read you can read the tablets and see which is “near”… but I’m in there right now and all 4 are “far away”…. how do you know the schedule?

  11. Hogit Says:

They have a specific order that rotates on Monday every two weeks.

Unless it’s been changed after they fixed the problem they were having.

I will need to confirm it.
