Hogit's Story

How To PvP

show gnome mercy “We who are about to die, salute you!” shouts our PvP team “Pigcat Rawr” as we charge the door. What is Hogit the raider doing in an arena? - showing the nubs how it’s done! First rule of arena combat is show gnome mercy. In this skirmish I cornered a ferocious SomePig and showed it who is BossHoggs! Always focus fire down important classes first, like SomePigs, Gnomes, and naked Protection Warriors sporting X-52 Rocket Helmets.

hogit's good strategy This trick I picked up quite fast, it works extremely well if you have an Disgusting Oozeling, and are a Dwarf or Gnome. As the oozeling colors your flag green, crouch in the enemy summoned soulwell. Not only are you behind enemy lines, as only the top of your flag sticks out you are easily camouflaged and ready to launch a surprise attack. You can thank me later for your 2500 point arena rating boost.

die with honor or at least style Lastly if you are going to die, die with honor, or at least style. Take note of the position of Hogit’s corpse and the flag through the face. If this doesn’t turn your enemy’s stomachs nothing will, except for maybe staring directly at Snizatch the ugliest Gnome ever created. Hopefully these tips can help you as they helped me acquire an awesome PvE shield Merciless Gladiator's Shield Wall from PvP, way to go Blizzard!

That is some sick shield you got there… How did you get that?

  2. Hogit Says:

It’s an arena reward. I played only 10 games a week and lost every game for about 1 month on a 5v5 team. Each match lasted about one minute.

WoW, Gratz on the shield Hogit!

Did you drop your oozeling or buy it? We (my husband and I) tried forever and a day to drop one, but ended up buying one instead just to quit wasting time.

Nice tip on the soulwell, I’ll have to try that!

OMG, I read your post yesterday and didn’t understand it, not till today I realized that you are losing all combats quickly to gain your shield??!!

  5. Hogit Says:

Of course! Most don’t pvp naked if they want to win. The faster you lose the quicker your 10 games are done.

Your rating drops a little, but after a while it slows to very little. If it’s too low you can just reform your team to start at 1500 again.

With the new arena rewards they are fixing this so that items require a high arena rating on purchase. So you must have the points to spend as well as a good rating from wins.

Damn, i’ve read this blog for almost 2 1/2 years and this has got to be the funniest post ever. “Pigcat Rawr”…. holy crap that is amazing. I wish I could be that randomly clever…. Once I get to level 25 on my gnome warriah, i am moving to your realm.

I was wondering how you framed your images that way? I’m starting a WoW blog myself, and have lightbox set up…but i adore your raming. You can email me at the address provided if you have time. Grats on the shield and great blog:)

    Well… nice tactic ^^

I guess blizzard has introduced the personal rating also to prevent ppl to play to lose and win the stuff as well. Anyway i shouldn’t say anything because if i win or i lose i am not that sad, the only important thing is to be able to count till 10 :)

Shame :/ because the shoulders of the Season3 are very beautiful…
