It had been some time since Elessedil the Elven Priest found Onyxia’s Lair in Dustwallow Marsh. The Arsenal Team had prepared a strategy and choose Hogit to lead them into battle against the dragon. With the experience gathered from the raid with Ilterendi and the High Blade in hand, he was ready. We cleared the Onyxian Warders leading into Onyxia’s cavern and charged the beast as she slept, the element of surprise was ours!
Hogit kept her attention to the North with relentless attacks, and the rest of the raid split down the middle attacking from the East and West sides. At one point Onyxia took flight, but our ranged attacks quickly brought her back down to the cracked floor now exploding with lava. The Wyrm’s attacks quickened and became more reckless as the end of her life neared, but our focus could not be broken and we soon stood over her corpse.
Elessedil walked away with a new headpiece, the Halo of Transcendence, and Gunners received the Helm of Wrath. The Arsenal Team took the head of Onyxia to Stormwind for display and hung it from the archway in the Valley of Heroes. Everyone wore their new loot and Hogit, not to be outdone, wore his Birthday Suit and a Goblin Rocket Helm for this special occasion. Sexeh!

During a Kingsblood hunt in Dustwallow Marsh Elessedil discovered the entrance to Onyxia’s Lair. She approached the dragon’s gate without fear, challenging the beast within. They would meet soon enough, but not today. Instead Elessedil killed all of the dragonkin surrounding the swamp. I think they were 60 elites, and hundreds of them… nerf Priests!
Onyxia is the daughter of the mighty dragon Deathwing, and sister of the scheming Nefarion Lord of Blackrock Spire. Onyxia resides in a fiery cave below the Dragonmurk, a dismal swamp located within Dustwallow Marsh. There she is guarded by her kin, the remaining members of the insidious Black Dragon Flight.

Meet Elessedil a new member of the Zissou team. She enjoys activities such as: healing Hog’s ass when he gets into trouble, pwning newbs while in shadow form, and dancing in IF! Elessedil had recently been exploring Azshara and helping Mage Tymor search for ancient runes. She had been given a drawing kit to make rubbings which were then scheduled to be picked up by Pilot Xiggs Fuselighter off the southern peninsula. Luckily her hearthstone was in working order because the pilot was not flying a two passenger craft!
