“I don’t want to go on the cart!” It looks like Hogit is dead but he survived with one health left (thanks Last Stand). I don’t usually post screenshots with my UI turned on but this case called for it. I felt it fitting because I haven’t been posting regularly. My guess is there have been some questions among them, “Has Hogit quit playing WoW?” No! But with the end game comes repetition and a loss of inspiration thus my blog suffers. A steep price to pay for purples. Bulwark of Azzinoth anyone?

Question: What is a one shot? Also known as IltStyle™ Yes, sometimes a one shot boss kill looks like this; a restoration spec Druid and Shaman, and a nub Rogue defeat Mother Shahraz. The killing blow is a moonfire to the face. Times like these prove that wiping it is for butts, and just killing it is for “god’s sake,” to quote the Dwarf Snowfallen. I don’t know what happened here. Obviously something went wrong while clearing to Illidan our second time. I blame… (1) Cornpo (2) Hablion (3) Snowfallen (4) Hunters (5) Specohealer /roll 5 … 2 : Hablion.
Question: What is a one shot? Other times, one shots look like this. After having worked on Illidan for roughly only one full night of raiding Ilterendi has cleared The Black Temple. On this night we needed no warm ups or refreshers, just a kill. At the top of the temple Illidan kneeled, waiting, with only this to say, “you are not prepared!” For one of us this statement rang true: Cornpo was not prepared; he brought no seeds to the kill, and had to trade mid fight with another of his class to return a fallen player to life. When asked where his seeds were, Cornpo replied “IDK MY BFF HOG?” Hogit was docked 50 DKP for forgetting Cornpo’s seeds.

“We who are about to die, salute you!” shouts our PvP team “Pigcat Rawr” as we charge the door. What is Hogit the raider doing in an arena? – showing the nubs how it’s done! First rule of arena combat is show gnome mercy. In this skirmish I cornered a ferocious SomePig and showed it who is BossHoggs! Always focus fire down important classes first, like SomePigs, Gnomes, and naked Protection Warriors sporting X-52 Rocket Helmets.
This trick I picked up quite fast, it works extremely well if you have an Disgusting Oozeling, and are a Dwarf or Gnome. As the oozeling colors your flag green, crouch in the enemy summoned soulwell. Not only are you behind enemy lines, as only the top of your flag sticks out you are easily camouflaged and ready to launch a surprise attack. You can thank me later for your 2500 point arena rating boost.
Lastly if you are going to die, die with honor, or at least style. Take note of the position of Hogit’s corpse and the flag through the face. If this doesn’t turn your enemy’s stomachs nothing will, except for maybe staring directly at Snizatch the ugliest Gnome ever created. Hopefully these tips can help you as they helped me acquire an awesome PvE shield Merciless Gladiator's Shield Wall from PvP, way to go Blizzard!
